Terms & Conditions:

  1. This Plan offers scaffolding support from Shun Hing Electric Service Centre Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “The Company”). Customer can choose to purchase Panasonic split-type air-conditioner upgrade service plan - Extra-care Scaffolding Plan (hereinafter referred to as “this Plan”) or this Plan bundled with an early bird maintenance plan for the purchased Panasonic Split-Type Air-Conditioner within 20 days of the purchase date.
  2. This Plan covers only the case where scaffolding needs to be erected for repair due to defect in product as confirmed by the Company, customer needs to arrange scaffolding with scaffolding company by himself/herself and the scaffolding fee must be paid by customer in advance. This Plan does not cover the following items. Additional charges shall be paid by customer:
    1. Repair or replacement of cabinet, switch knobs, control panel, top plate, label on top plate or accessories of the product.
    2. Rust removing, painting, modification or replacement of the cabinet.
    3. The product has been explicitly or implicitly modified, tempered with, altered or repaired in any way by persons other than technicians of the Company.
    4. The product has been damaged through misuse, negligence, power interruption or abnormal voltage input, accident, natural calamities, or due to ingress of insects, foreign matters or liquid, corrosion or external factors.
    5. The normal operation of the product is affected by improper installation of the product.
    6. The cleansing of the parts, clearing of clogged drain pipes or reinstallation of drain pipes.
    7. Removal and/or reinstatement of any decorations or facilities hindering the service work of the product.
  3. The effective date of this Plan starts from the purchase date of the Panasonic Split-Type Air-Conditioner.
  4. This plan is not applicable to Panasonic Wall Mounted Multi-Split Type Heat Pump Air-Conditioner.
  5. This Plan offers reimbursement of scaffolding fee twice per year with maximum amount of HK$3,000 per claim, and customer is responsible to bear the difference in excess of the said limit.
  6. After completing the repair works, customer must submit the official receipt (issued by the scaffolding company) of the scaffolding fee to the Company within 30 days for reimbursement. If customer fails to submit within 30 days, the Company reserves the right to refuse reimbursement.
  7. Customer is responsible for applying the approval of scaffolding permission from their housing estate or related parties.
  8. This Plan does not cover any Employees’ Compensation Insurance on scaffolding work and Public Liability Insurance.
  9. This Plan is not applicable to the cost of scaffolding required for re-installation or change of installation location.
  10. This Plan is not applicable to general inspections required by customer when the product is functioning normal.
  11. The paid Extra-care Scaffolding Plan will not be refunded under any circumstances.
  12. In case there is any inconsistency or conflict between English version and Chinese version, the Chinese version shall prevail.
  13. All Terms and Conditions stated are subject to change without notice.
  14. The Company retains final deciding authority in case of dispute.
